It is exciting when one of your stars from your team has made it on the national stage, and former Penn State Wrestling champ Bo Nickal, certainly has given Nittany Lions fans plenty to cheer about recently. On Saturday night from T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nickal would be on the Historic UFC 300 Pay Per View. The former Penn State champion remained undefeated with a second-round tap out.

Following Saturday night’s victory, Nickal tells NittanyCentral that once he gets a couple of wins under his belt, he plans on talking to Dana White about bringing a UFC card to State College, Pa.

If Nickal’s success continues, who knows, but it sure sounds like the former Nittany Lion plans on lobbying for Happy Valley and the Bryce Jordan Center to get a taste of UFC action in the future.
