Dana White confirms Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor trilogy will take place July 10 in Las Vegas

UFC president Dana White confirmed Wednesday that Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor will fight for a third time in Las Vegas on July 10.

"This summer, Las Vegas is back open for business, and on July 10, UFC 264 will be at the T-Mobile Arena at 100-per-cent capacity. Ladies and gentleman, that's 20,000 fans," White said in a video posted to Twitter. "And this card will be headlined by the third fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. Tickets go on sale this week."

McGregor announced the news earlier this month but then stated on Monday that the fight was off after Poirier accused him of going back on donating $500,000 to "The Good Fight Foundation."

The two first met at UFC 178 in Las Vegas, with McGregor recording a first-round knockout. Poirier avenged his loss at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi with a second-round win over McGregor.

Poirier, who is 27-6, will look to extend his winning streak to three in a row, while McGregor, who is 22-5, will look for his first win since January 2020.
