The UFC is going across the pond once more.

On Tuesday, UFC CEO Dana White revealed that the promotion is planning on going to the U.K. later this year for a pay-per-view event. Nothing has been set in stone in terms of the location, date or even the fights at hand, with more details to be unraveled at a later time.

In 2023, the Octagon touched down in London, England twice. The first being UFC 286 in March, headlined by welterweight champ Leon Edwards and then a fight night event in July topped by Liverpool’s Tom Aspinall. Fast forward to 2024, Edwards’ belt still runs through Birmingham and Aspinall now holds interim gold at heavyweight.

White is sure to bring the champions along for the ride in their return to England.

“I have an English heavyweight champion and lots of other European stars, two champs now out of England,” White told TNT Sports. “That’s another thing that was just happened here recently. We have these teams that build all their different pieces to the puzzle, right? Then, we come together with me and then I start trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle together and I’m like, no, this doesn’t fit here. That’s gotta go. That’s how it all works. We had these fights that were going on that were like, wait, we’re gonna do this where? No. We’re going to England.

“We’re coming and I got great fights lined up for the UK fans and I’m excited to get back there. I’m excited to get back to England. I haven’t been to England in a minute and I’m excited to get back there.

As for all of the details, the UFC boss says fans won’t have to wait long for more news on the card.

“Literally days and days,” White said, regarding the timeline for an official announcement. “We’re right there working on this stuff. We got some some badass plans for England. Numbered card, pay-per-view… A great one.”
