Dana White shuts down rumors of potential Musk, Zuckerberg fight

May this (hopefully) be the death knell in the Elon Musk-Mark Zuckerberg cage match saga.

In a conversation with OutKick's Charly Arnolt, UFC president Dana White shut down a potential fight between billionaires Musk and Zuckerberg after months of speculation.

"I don't know. I never say never, but probably not," said White.

When asked who would win in a hypothetical fight, White deferred in picking a winner between the two, instead saying that "whatever charities were pledged to donate the money, they would be the absolute winners because I think they would do $1,000,000,000 in revenue and they wanted 90 percent of that to go to charity."

Of course, with Musk's estimated net worth of $256 billion and Zuckerberg's of $106.5 billion, each could donate a billion of their own money to those charities right now without resorting to a measuring contest.

Unfortunately, that's probably even less likely than a fight between the two happening.

The drama between Musk and Zuckerberg began after Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, launched Threads, a social media app to rival the platform formerly known as Twitter, which Musk acquired in October of last year and rebranded as X in July.

On Jun. 20, Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match, which Zuckerberg agreed to. Then, in August, Musk suggested the fight could take place in Italy and proposed a practice bout at Zuckerberg's house, prompting the Meta founder to say it's "time to move on," adding, "If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me."
