Eagle FC returns to the United States for another intriguing card full of prospects and veteran fighters. EFC 47 is headlined by former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight titleholder Junior dos Santos as he looks to get back in the win column against Yorgan De Castro.

While the main event heavyweights had no trouble making weight, four other fighters were overweight. This includes middleweights Maki Pitolo and Douglas Usher, who weighed in 187.4 and 189 pounds, respectively. Also overweight was Alexandre Almeida, who was 158.4 pounds for his lightweight bout against Roosevelt Roberts, and Paulo Silva, who came in .6 pounds over the lightweight limit for his fight with Sean Soriano.

This is the first fight for dos Santos (21-9) since being released by the UFC. The end of "Cigano" inside the Octagon came after a four-fight skid, although all to top heavyweight contenders including current champion Francis Ngannou. The Brazilian will look to rebound here and pick up his first win since a May 2019 knockout over Derrick Lewis. Dos Santos looked great on the scale and weighed 245.6 pounds.

Another recent UFC release, De Castro (8-3) has since won back-to-back fights on the regional circuit. "The Mad Titan" first won a unanimous decision over Danyelle Williams and followed it up at Eagle FC 44 with a submission win over Shaun Asher in just 1:04. De Castro looks to pick up the biggest win of his career against "Cigano" and officially weighed 264.2 pounds.

Eagle FC 47 will air live and free on FLXcast at 6 p.m. ET.
