Betting organizations are lining up to work with MMA promotions, and
One Championship has hooked a big one.

Per a press release on Friday, One has announced it will be partnering with FanDuel – based in the U.S. – to stage events on the latter’s proprietary FanDuel TV network. This station is listed on cable and satellite TV, already working with distributors including Xfinity, Spectrum, DirecTV and several others. The first event of their agreement will be One 164, which takes place on Saturday morning. No live MMA event had ever aired on FanDuel TV to this point.

Chief commercial officer of FanDuel, Mike Raffensperger, spoke of the new arrangement highly, saying, “We’re eager to continue expanding the variety of content we’re offering at FanDuel TV to introduce our audience to emerging sports. We’ve long respected the content the One Championship team is producing and are looking forward to bringing their action to our audience through FanDuel TV and FanDuel+.”

Prior to One joining its lineup, past content included shows covering the NBA as well as all-around sports coverage content. The service, recently known as TVG, played host to horse racing and betting options. It has grown to the major sports, including betting on all of them. In addition to the FanDuel TV platform that One fights will air on, events can also be viewed through the FanDuel+ app, which is available on some platforms like Roku and certain Amazon Fire or Apple TV devices. To access this app, one needs a FanDuel account.

One 164 will go down on Dec. 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines, and it will culminate with a 125-pound championship matchup pitting champ Joshua Pacio against the surging Jarred Brooks. Other fights on the billing include a heavyweight scrap between Brandon Vera and Amir Aliakbari, and a flyweight contest when Geje Eustaquio takes on Yong Hu.
