The 2023 Professional Fighters League season is about to begin for the heavyweight and women's featherweight competitors.

The 10-fight PFL 2 card is headlined by an intriguing 145-pound women's pairing between Larissa Pacheco and Julia Budd. Both women had no trouble making weight, as did the rest of the event with the exception of Olena Kolesnyk, who came in .4 pounds over the featherweight limit for her bout against Aspen Ladd. Additionally, one fight was moved, as PFL announced that Michal Andryszak was out of his encounter with Patrick Brady and is being replaced by Denis Goltsov. As a result, the match has been pushed to April 14.

Pacheco (19-4) is coming off the biggest win of her career after finally dispatching rival Kayla Harrison, who defeated her twice in 2019, to win the 2022's women's lightweight season. Now moving back down to featherweight, the Brazilian is riding an impressive six-fight win streak. The Joao Bastos Team fighter officially weighed 146 pounds on the dot.

Looking to cause an upset is Budd (16-5), who will look to show she still has more to give the sport at 39 years old. "The Jewel" has had mixed results since joining the promotion, going 1-2 with back-to-back decision defeats to Genah Fabian and Ladd hurting any momentum she had. The former Bellator women's featherweight queen stepped on the scale at 145.6 pounds.

PFL 2 will stream in its entirety on ESPN+ on Saturday, and its main card will also air live on ESPN2. Prelims begin at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, while the main card starts at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
