UFC 300 is days away at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this weekend. Officially into the Fight Week, the promotion is partaking in its usual ceremonial pre-fight sitdowns and Media Day scrums. However, the new fight gears are something that, interestingly, hoops past all that. Alex Pereira , Max Holloway , Zhang Weili , and Justin Gaethje received new custom fight gear.

Chris Weidman’s  controversial win and eye-poke at UFC on ESPN 54 and others in tow for the 2023-2024 season had fans and enthusiasts hoping for major changes. Hence, a tease by MMA Coverage journo John Morgan seemed interesting. It hinted that Fight Week and UFC 300 Official Weigh-in programs would see new gear, possibly combat gloves.

However, for now, it turns out top athletes are getting custom fight kits. UFC 300 “Adrenaline Unrivaled” gear saw several Official Venum Kits get added to the UFC Store. Fighters Alex Pereira, Zhang Weili, Justin Gaethje, and Max Holloway took to their IG handles to flaunt custom apparel. Even Aljamain Sterling sported a custom “Adrenaline Unrivaled” jacket.

Light heavyweight champ Pereira (9-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) puts the belt on the line in a maiden defense in the headliner. The two-division UFC and GLORY titleholder often uses Pataxó Brazilian War paint and headgear. His scraps with Israel Adesnaya and Jiri Prochazka were the same; hence, he received similar shorts. Meanwhile, Hebei-born Weili douses a ballistic red and black kit, representing her Chinese origins. Others received similar kits.

Unrivaled Greatness: Max Holloway, Justin Gaethje, and Aljamain Sterling post snaps of custom fight kits for UFC 300

Christmas came way early this year! Consequently, it came in the form of Tuesday’s UFC 300 “Adrenaline Unrivaled” gear reveal. The landmark event is right around the corner, with UFC 300 garnering much hope amongst fight fans. Now, it adds to the visible cue of anticipation as well, with fighters boasting vibrant new kits.

Max Holloway (25-7 MMA, 21-7 UFC) and Gaethje are contrarily two halves of the illustrious ‘BMF’ title strap equation. ‘Blessed’ had advocated for floral shorts promoting his Hawaiian heritage. Matching up to his zen-gladiatorial mindset, the opponent Gaethje had wished for classic star-and-stripes with the thematic color of a champion. Both their wishes were answered.

Meanwhile, the 23-4 MMA, and 15-4 UFC, 135-pound featurette Aljamain Sterling is moving up to featherweight. He faces Calvin Kattar on the UFC 300 prelims. ‘The Funk Master’ sported his funk with a custom “Adrenaline Unrivaled” Official jacket. Concurrently, the official embossed logo read “Unrivaled Greatness,” the current warcry of the product line. All in all, the matter is sure to garner much traction in the upcoming hours.
