UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping wouldn't advise Stipe Miocic to take another fight outside of Jon Jones.

Miocic was scheduled to challenge Jones for the UFC Heavyweight Championship in the main event of UFC 295. Jones suffered a torn pectoral muscle preparing for the fight. As a result, Tom Aspinall was called upon to meet Sergei Pavlovich for the interim UFC heavyweight title.

Aspinall has been pounding the table to fight either Jones or Miocic next, but Bisping doesn't think Stipe should take the bait.

In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, Michael Bisping said taking such a fight would be a big risk for Miocic.

"You can fight, potentially lose to become the interim champion or you could just sit tight and wait for another few more months and fight the greatest of all time in what is guaranteed to be a massive, massive fight that you're gonna earn a s*** ton of money from," Bisping said.

Aspinall recently claimed he was offered a UFC 300 fight with Stipe Miocic, but the two-time UFC heavyweight champion declined. Bisping feels Stipe made the right move.

"Now, I'm a fan of Tom Aspinall, okay but if I'm managing Stipe, I'd say you sidestep Tom Aspinall all day long," Bisping said. "Even if Stipe looked kind of interested I would give him a slap in the face. I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' Fighters need to be protected from themselves, and if Stipe was thinking about that it just doesn't make smart business sense."

It looks like initial plans for Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic are still on, and we'll keep you posted if the UFC moves forward with the heavyweight title fight.
