It's an afternoon of fights as the Octagon returns home for UFC On ESPN+ 96: Rozenstruik vs. Gaziev from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Originally scheduled to be the UFC's debut in Saudi Arabia, this event was shifted to Las Vegas after several planned fights fell through, and it sees a heavyweight main event as Jairzinho Rozenstruik takes on the undefeated Shamil Gaziev. Rozenstruik is looking to rebound from a loss in May while Gaziev gets a main event in just his second UFC outing, looking to remain perfect and win his 13th straight fight.
The rest of the main card sees a light heavyweight bout pitting undefeated Vitor Petrino against Tyson Pedro; an interesting flyweight bout between Alex Perez and Muhammad Mokaev; a bantamweight bout between the returning undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov and newcomer Bekzat Almakhan; and a flyweight opener between ranked fighters as Matt Schnell takes on Steve Erceg.
