In a new interview to promote his upcoming movie role, UFC superstar Conor McGregor seems physically unwell ahead of a planned return to the Octagon.

While he isn’t preparing for a new fight, MMA great Conor McGregor has been a busy man as he promotes the release of the Amazon Prime remake of “Road House.” As he and co-star Jake Gyllenhaal have been making the rounds to build a bunch of hype for the film Patrick Swayze made famous in the 1980s. However, while talking about the film the Irishman broke some big news recently.

  • Conor McGregor record: 22-6 (19 knockouts, 1 submission)

During an interview with ESPN this past week, “Notorious” claimed the promotion has set a date for his long-awaited return fight versus Michael Chandler and it is expected to be this summer. This means McGregor will jump into his first fight camp in nearly three years after his current media blitz finishes.

But the former two-division champion did not seem well during a recent conversation about the film. In a clip from the chat (below), Conor McGregor seems to have a weird twitch as he continuously shrugs his shoulders and blinks his right eye simultaneously while answering a question.

He also seems to be struggling to get out what is an awkward answer and it leaves his co-star Gyllenhaal looking confused and a bit concerned.

The symptoms are similar to a person suffering from Tourette’s Syndrome, which the UFC megastar does not have. There have long been rumors about heavy drug and alcohol use by the fighter as he became one of the most famous athletes on the planet. However, it is all just speculation.

Either way, the interview is a good reason to be worried if Conor McGregor is really okay before his planned return to the violent MMA game in a few months.
