On Friday, the recent “Lord of the Streets” movie debuted on Tubi as part of its original content. The story involves a father who needs to save his kidnapped daughter, mixed martial arts fights and gangsters. The cast of the film, directed by Jared Cohn, features many familiar faces to MMA fans, including former
Ultimate Fighting Championship titleholders Quinton Jackson and Anderson Silva.

The official synopsis for “Lord of the Streets” reads:

“When Jason Dyson refuses to make his prized fighter throw an MMA match, a notorious gangster collects his debt by killing the fighter and kidnapping Jason's daughter. Now he must train a prisoner to endure five consecutive underground fights to save her. From Mutiny Films, “Lord of the Streets” is written, directed and executive produced by Jared Cohn (“Deadlock), along with executive producers Demetrius Stear (“Vendetta”), Anthony “Treach” Criss (“Equal Standard”), Evan Forster (“Blacklight”), Michelle Schwarzer (“Move Me No Mountain”) and Jubal Ace Kohn (“Killer Advice”).”

The cast sees Anthony “Treach” Criss (“Equal Standard”) as Jason “The Machine” Dyson, UFC 205-pounder Khalil Rountree Jr. as Damon, onetime Bellator MMA 145-pound champion A.J. McKee as Tre “The Chosen One” Jordan, “Rampage” Jackson as Kane, “The Spider” Silva as Axel, former Bellator heavyweight titleholder Cheick Kongo as Franc “The Titan” Blanc, Richard Grieco (“21 Jump Street) as Detective Kayes, Rigan Machado as Crolen Belladon.
