Jon Jones has made a direct appeal to Dana White regarding the UFC event set for the White House.
The organisation is scheduled to host a card at President Donald Trump’s official residence on June 14, 2026, marking one of the most distinctive in the sport’s history.
Jones even came out of retirement when he learned there was a chance to fight at such an iconic location.
But in recent months, Dana White has made it clear that Jones will not be part of the event.
Jones was in attendance at Dirty Boxing 4 to support his teammate Gable Steveson, who impressed with a 13-second knockout win.
While there, the topic of a possible return for the White House event came up.
Jones then said: “I really hope it happens.
“Dana, please, bro. Please! I’m training, I feel great, I’m healthy.
“I’d be so honored to represent our country and do what I do best.”

In September, Dana White dismissed any possibility of Jones fighting at the UFC White House event.
He put the chances at “a billion to one,” making it clear he has no intention of putting ‘Bones’ on that card.
A big part of that hesitation stems from Jones pulling out of a $30 million fight with Tom Aspinall earlier in the year, something White has not forgotten.
“[Jon Jones] is the greatest of all time, I still know that to be a fact.
“But he’s not the greatest of all time, ‘guy you can count on that you know 100 per cent is going to be solid and be there’. Say what you want about Conor McGregor because people like to talk s— about that too, but he is that guy.
“He’s always been that guy, I’ve been in the room and on the phone with him. There are a lot of guys who talk tough publicly, but behind the scenes, it’s a whole other ball game. When the s— hits the fan, who’s really willing to go out there? Conor McGregor has always been that guy.”
White will not start building out the card until February 2026, so there is still time for things to change. But as it stands now, Jones is not expected to be part of what could become one of the biggest nights in UFC history.
