The NASCAR Hall of Fame revealed the 2025 ballot Wednesday with Greg Biffle headlining the five new nominees.

Joining Biffle as new nominees on the ballot are Randy Dorton, Ray Hendrick, Jack Sprague and Bob Welborn. Biffle, Dorton and Sprague are part of the Modern Era ballot, while Hendrick and Welborn join the Pioneer ballot. Voting day is on May 21. Panelists choose two from the 10-person Modern Era ballot (career started within last 60 years) and one from the five-person Pioneer Era ballot (career started over 60 years ago or 10 years on Modern Era ballot). Fans vote online with their votes combined into one “member” of the selection panel, per Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports.

Greg Biffle headlines new NASCAR Hall of Fame nominees

Biffle, 54, is a 19-time winner in the Cup Series and was named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers. Though Biffle failed to capture a Cup Series championship, he finished second in the points standings in 2005, third in 2008 and fifth in 2012. He is a two-time Southern 500 winner.

Biffle also had a distinguished career in both the Xfinity and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. He won the Truck Series championship in 2000 and the Xfinity Series championship in 2002. The latter made him the first driver with championships in both the Xfinity and Truck Series. Biffle was named the Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year in 2001 and Most Popular Driver the following season. He finished his career with 37 wins across the Xfinity and Truck Series’.

Returnees to this year’s Modern Era ballot include: Neil Bonnett, Tim Brewer, Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards, Harry Gant, Harry Hyde and Ricky Rudd.

Edwards, with 28 Cup and 38 Xfinity Series wins to his name, is one of the favorites to earn induction. Edwards, like Biffle, was named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers and has wins in the Southern 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on his résumé.
