The Daytona 500 will finally take place today at 4:00 PM ET, after being postponed due to adverse track conditions caused by inclement weather. The original date was Sunday, February 18th, but rain delayed the spectacle for a few hours.

Joey Logano starts from the pole position, with Michael McDowell and Tyler Reddick completing the starting lineup. This race, known as the Great American Race, will kick off the new season of the NASCAR Cup Series. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will give the starting command for the first of the 200 laps of the event.
