Jimmie Johnson hasn’t officially announced which races he’ll suit up for in the NASCAR Cup Series next season, but we’ve received a peek behind the curtain.

The legendary driver announced a partnership with a new sponsor in AdventHealth, but his Legacy Motor Club team may have leaked which races Johnson will be participating in during the official release.

“LEGACY MOTOR CLUB

today announced the Club will join forces with AdventHealth in 2024 to field the No. 43 Toyota Camry XSE for driver Erik Jones in six NASCAR Cup Series races including the season-opening 2024 DAYTONA 500,” Legacy Motor Club revealed, via press release. “Additionally, AdventHealth will compete in three events with seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson behind the wheel of the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE at Texas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway in 2024.”

As you can see, Legacy Motor Club revealed that AdventHealth will sponsor Johnson’s “No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE at Texas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and in the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway in 2024.”

That wasn’t exactly known throughout the media yet. Therefore, we now know part of Johnson’s 2024 Cup Series schedule. Where else he decides to race remains to be seen.

Continuing, Johnson added that the partnership between AdventHealth and Legacy Motor Club is a “natural fit,” and pointed out that he “can’t wait for this season to get started.”

“This is a wonderful day for LEGACY M.C.,” said the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion. “AdventHealth believes health should be measured in terms of the whole person — body, mind and spirit.

“This partnership is a natural fit for our Club and I know we will do great things together. I can’t wait for this season to get started.”

Moreover, CEO for AdventHealth Terry Shaw waxed poetic regarding the partnership, and it’s evident AdventHealth is just as excited for the partnership as Johnson and company are.

“We are thrilled to partner with Legacy Motor Club and drivers Erik Jones and Jimmie Johnson and are looking forward to a winning 2024 race season,” said Shaw. “AdventHealth has been a sponsor in the sport since 2015 and we appreciate the opportunity to provide care for this team and the passionate NASCAR fan base.

“Together we can make a tremendous impact in our communities and ensure more people have the opportunity to access whole-person care.”

Alas, we can’t wait to see Jimmie Johnson behind the wheel of the AdventHealth Toyota, as it’s always a treat to see him on the track, competing with the best the Cup Series has to offer.
