Noah Gragson will miss Sunday's race at Sonoma Raceway due to concussion-like symptoms stemming from a crash in last weekend's race at St. Louis, Legacy Motor Club announced Thursday.

Gragson crashed on Lap 197 of the race and was evaluated and later released from the infield medical center. His concussion-like symptoms began earlier this week.

Legacy Motor Club said Truck Series driver Grant Enfinger will drive the No. 42 Chevrolet at Sonoma. It will be Enfinger's Cup Series debut

"Noah's health is the highest of priorities and we commend him for making the decision to sit out this weekend," said Legacy Motor Club co-owners Maury Gallagher and Jimmie Johnson. "We are appreciative that Grant was available and willing to step in since the Truck Series is off this weekend."

Gragson, 24, has made 15 starts this season and ranks 32nd in points. His best finish is 12th at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March. He has yet to win in 33 Cup Series races.

Enfinger, 38, has nine career Truck wins, including last week's event just outside St. Louis. It was his second win of the season.

"My thoughts are with Noah, I know how much he loves this team and the guys on it," Enfinger said. "I'm happy to help out Legacy Motor Club and the No. 42 team."
