Another day, another sponsor for Kyle Busch at Richard Childress Racing. This time it is Global Industrial joining the No. 8 team. RCR is making sure that Rowdy has all of the sponsors that he needs for the 2024 NASCAR season.

Of course, Global Industrial is also a sponsor of Austin Hill in the Xfinity Series. That partnership is going to continue for Hill. The big story is the sponsor taking on the extra responsibility of being a Cup Series sponsor.

“We are excited to partner with Richard Childress Racing and Austin Hill for another season of NASCAR racing action,” said Alex Tomey, Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Global Industrial.

“It has been an incredible experience to be part of the RCR platform, which has allowed us to highlight the products and solutions we offer, and strengthen relationships with our associates, customers and vendor partners. Austin has been an exceptional ambassador for the Global Industrial brand, and we look forward to expanding our relationship as we team up with Kyle Busch for our first ever NASCAR Cup Series race in 2024.”

When you see the No. 8 car this season, a lot of familiar sponsors are returning. 3CHI is back, Cheddar’s is back. However, there are new ones as well. Rebel Bourbon and now, Global Industrial are jumping on board with Kyle Busch.

Kyle Busch adds new sponsor for 2024

NASCAR is all about sponsors and funding. You either get a big fish or you get a few partners to fill out your season. In 2023, Busch debuted with Richard Childress and went on to win three races. He’s going to try and win some with Global Industrial on the side of the car now.

The folks at RCR are excited to expand this partnership.

“We are grateful for our partnership with Global Industrial to continue on a path of growth and to welcome them into the Cup Series,” said Torrey Galida, President of RCR. “Witnessing Austin win two races last season in their primary scheme and seeing the excitement of their associates and customers in victory lane was a great way to cap off year two of the program.

“Global Industrial has done an excellent job of utilizing Austin for employee events and as a spokesperson at their national trade show. 2024 should be even more exciting as Kyle joins the Global Industrial family.”

Kyle Busch is a big name right now. He gets a lot more applause than boos lately. That is going to go a long way to getting more sponsors on his team for 2024 and beyond. Everyone wants a little bit of Rowdy.
