Bennett Transportation and Logistics will be with Richard Childress Racing for many seasons to come after a multi-year extension. Bennett will be with Austin Hill in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on the No. 21 Chevy Camaro.

Those blue and white colors might seem out of place with RCR’s typical red and black look but Bennett is along for the long haul. Hill has had Bennett with him in the Xfinity Series as well as his starts in the Cup Series.

This will be year three with Richard Childress Racing and Bennett together. Consistent, recognizable sponsorship is major in NASCAR, especially these days. It is rare for a driver to have such a strong sponsor for an entire season and beyond, really.

“We are looking forward to our third season with the Richard Childress Racing team and Austin Hill. Our customers, drivers, agents and employees had lots to celebrate in 2023 with Austin winning the Xfinity Series Regular Season Championship,” said Lynette Mathis, vice president of the Bennett Family of Companies.

“The celebration continues in 2024 for our 50th Anniversary as a company. We have seen the pride in the Bennett Family of Companies swell with this relationship as everyone associated with our business rallies behind Austin and his team on Saturday afternoons. Everyone can see the parallels between the great teamwork of a successful race program and how it reflects the great teamwork required to handle complex transportation and logistics.”

Austin Hill has had a lot of success with Bennett at Richard Childress Racing. So, in year three, and beyond, they hope to have even more.

Richard Childress Racing on ‘relationship’ with Bennett

In the old NASCAR, drivers and sponsors were synonymous with each other. Now, not so much. With the exception of a few drivers, and even fewer by the year, a team needs multiple primary sponsors to fund a season.

So, when a sponsor like Bennett comes along and wants to sponsor a majority or a whole season as they do, it’s a big deal. When you see that Bennett logo, you think of Austin Hill and vice versa.

It also helps that Hill has won the opener at Daytona two years in a row. When he gets on those superspeedways in an Xfinity car, he is almost unstoppable.

With Bennett’s sponsorship secured for the future, will Austin Hill and Richard Childress Racing find Victory Lane again to start the year?
