Justin Marks and his pop-star racing team co-owner Pitbull is building a true mega racing team at Trackhosue Racing. The team that started as a single car Cup Series team, now with in three years, has two full-time and one part-time car operation. They also has three development drivers in their garage with one of them being an IMSA LMP2 championship contender in Conor Zilch.

Lats year the team made another mega Motorsports investment by purchasing a MotoGP team and is fielding Aprila bikes in the 2024 season with two star riders Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernadez as their drivers. Justin Marks invested in the All-American MotoGp team, seeing the promising future it has in the states as well as in the global market.

Ross Chastain, who is arguably the best driver in the Trackhosue grid was asked about potentially racing one Trackhosue bike. The No:1 Chevy driver, who is infamous for the iconic hail melon move, quickly rejected those suggestions. He reckons it’s too fast for him to handle considering his lack of experience and added that he won’t event consider a back seat ride.

No chance. Not even the second seat. Ross Chastain said.

Ross Chastain recalls Ben Kennedy’s MotoGP experience and details why he doesn’t want a backseat ride

Chastain revealed that NASCAR Senior VP Ben Kennedy has shown him his experience driving in a backseat of a MotoGP bike. He pointed out that when riding in bikes such fast that, not being in control of the vehicle is a frightening experience. The Chevy driver added that he would like to be in control at least when he is a vehicle as even if he is crashing, he gets to hold the wheel.

I’ve seen Ben Kennedy was showing me some stuff. He’s ridden back seat with a guy. They did like, I mean they’re on one wheel on the straightaways going forward they’re on one wheel slowing down. Just no, not at all. It’s way too fast and I don’t like to be out of control. At least when I’m driving, I’m going to crash into something I get to hold the wheel. Ross Chastain said.

While the MotoGP racing is not in cards, Chastain can use the new platform Trackhosue has to market NASCAR more before the international community. He has the charisma to do it and he can play a significant role in Trackhosue’s NASCAR-MotoGP cross promotions.
