As we sit more than a month out from the Daytona 500, the odds are favoring NASCAR Champion Ryan Blaney to win the Great American Race. Blaney is a very talented superspeedway driver. While he’s more known for his Talladega performances, he can still mix it up at Daytona.

The early odds from DraftKings has Ryan Blaney out front all on his own at 9/1 odds to win. It would be major for Blaney to follow up his championship with a Daytona 500 win. However, it’s not going to be as easy as it seems.

There is a talented group of drivers, including Chase Elliott, who have this race on their bucket lists.

Daytona 500 odds:
Ryan Blaney – 9/1
Denny Hamlin – 11/1
Chase Elliott – 11/1
Brad Keselowski – 11/1
Chris Buescher – 12/1
William Byron – 14/1
Kyle Busch – 14/1
Joey Logano – 14/1

Tyler Reddick – 22/1
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – 22/1
Martin Truex Jr. – 25/1
Erik Jones – 25/1
Austin Cindric – 25/1

Daytona 500 odds:
Ty Gibbs – 28/1
Josh Berry – 28/1
Chase Briscoe – 28/1
Austin Dillon – 30/1
Alex Bowman – 30/1
Michael McDowell – 35/1
Ryan Preece – 40/1

John Hunter Nemechek – 50/1

The NASCAR Cup Series season can’t et here soon enough. 2024 is going to be a big year and it is going to lead into an even bigger 2025 season. That all starts with the Daytona 500 this season.

Daytona 500 favorites to be highlighted in Netflix show

Just before the NASCAR Busch Light Clash, NASCAR: Full Speed will debut on Netflix. January 30, fans can catch the new series highlighting the playoff battle for the 2023 Cup Series season. Some of our favorites in the Daytona 500 odds are listed among the stars.

Of course, Ryan Blaney, the champion, is highlighted in the series. Denny Hamlin is one of the characters that fans can expect to see a lot in the show as well. You can expect to see a lot from the Championship 4 drivers Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson, and William Byron as well.

While this likely won’t be as big as F1’s Drive to Survive there is a real opportunity here for NASCAR. Being in the cultural zeitgeist is major for the sport. Pop culture is the thing everyone is chasing and this will help put stock car racing in front of a lot of eyes.

Perhaps we will see a whole run of press as the show comes out leading us to the Clash and then the Daytona 500. Right now, Ryan Blaney is at the top of those Daytona 500 odds. Qualifying and the Duels will let us know more about that in about a month from now.
