With a lap time of 98.076 seconds, Tyler Reddick earns his 10th career Cup Series pole for Sunday’s EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas.
His second pole at the Austin, Texas road course led a career-first front row appearance for 23XI Racing history with Bubba Wallace (98.300 sec.) starting to his outside.
“All in all, it felt like it was hard for anybody in the field today to have a perfect lap,” Reddick said. “Certainly wasn’t that for me, but hit the right areas that matter the most and fortunately put together a pretty good lap that was able to hold on there. (I) didn’t know what the 9 (Chase Elliott) and some of the other cars and their capability, what that was going to look like, but we had a really good lap and we were able to hang on to it throughout the whole session.”
After trouble with his qualifying attempt, Elliott, the inaugural winner at COTA, was able to rebound to third on the grid with a time of 98.358 sec.
Carson Hocevar, coming off his best career finish of second last weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, slotted to fourth on the grid with a 98.453 sec. lap time.
Daniel Suárez (98.482 sec.) was fastest in Group 1 and will start fifth over Trackhouse Racing teammate Shane Van Gisbergen (98.519 sec.).
Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch, Ross Chastain, and Todd Gilliland round out the top 10 starting spots.
It's the first front-row sweep in @23XIRacing history!

Connor Zilisch’s bid for three poles in three NASCAR debuts falls short. His time of 98.928 sec. will put him 14th in his first career Cup Series start.
Sunday’s race on the new course layout will air on Fox, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
