Robin Lopez has played in 16 games for the Milwaukee Bucks this season.

The former Stanford star averaged 1.1 points per contest in limited playing time and was traded to the Sacramento Kings earlier this month.

However, the Kings did not keep Lopez and immediately waived him following the acquisition.

He has cleared waivers and is currently a free agent who is available to be signed by any team in the league.

Lopez was the 15th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and has played for the Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Hornets, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic (in addition to the Bucks).

His career averages are 8.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 53.7% from the field in 997 regular season games.

He has also appeared in 38 NBA playoff games (28 starts).

Lopez is the twin brother of NBA Champion Brook Lopez, who is currently averaging 13.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.7 blocks per contest while shooting 48.3% from the field and 34.2% from the three-point range in 53 games for the Bucks this season.

The two brothers have been teammates on the Bucks twice (2020 and 2023).

While Lopez is 35 years old, he could still be a good pickup for many teams around the NBA.

A contending team could always use a center with significant experience to add depth to their bench for a deep playoff run.

In addition, Lopez could be a good mentor for a young team's locker room.
