There was a time when Allen Iverson had a case for the best basketball player, most influential athlete, and strongest sneaker line in the world. Even better, time has treated the NBA legend's legacy even better than expected.

It has been many years since Iverson turned the game upside down and ushered in a new era of authenticity. However, Reebok continues to keep his signature sneaker line fresh with a healthy mix of new and OG colorways.

Iverson's first signature sneaker will soon enjoy retro treatment in another fan-favorite colorway. The 'Tobacco' colorway of the Reebok Question Mid first hit shelves in the early 2000s and is finally making its long-awaited debut later this week.

Release Information

The Reebok Question Mid 'Tobacco' is scheduled to release at midnight EST on Friday, July 28. Athletes and fans can purchase the old-school basketball shoes for $170 in adult sizes on the Reebok website and at select retailers.

Whether you're a fan of Iverson's early years with the Philadelphia 76ers or his veteran era with the Denver Nuggets, Reebok has an Iverson sneaker available to celebrate any stage of the hoops legend's career.

Earlier this month, Reebok opened its archives to release the Answer IV in the 'Free Agency' colorway. Iverson's fourth signature sneaker was worn by Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant during the 2002-03 NBA season. But fans preparing for the last stage of summer and early fall cannot go wrong with the Question Mid 'Tobacco' colorway.

Details

Reebok did not miss when it came to the detailing on the Question Mid 'Tobacco' colorway. The white tumbled leather upper offers a classic look, while the cracked leather detailing on the toe box and collar provide a scuffed-up, played-in aesthetic.

The Reebok branding, Iverson's signature logo, and crystal gum outsole provide contrast with a flavorful salted caramel design. Of course, the fan-favorite Hexalite hexagonal cushioning, EVA midsole, and rubber outsole provide the foundation of the iconic sneaker.

The longer you look at this shoe, the more subtle details you notice. Just don't spend too much time staring, as this throwback colorway could be gone in a hurry. Stay locked into FanNation Kicks for all your sneaker coverage.
