Anthony Davis will get blond streak like Dennis Schroder if Lakers repeat

Anthony Davis plans to change up his look if the Los Angeles Lakers win the NBA title this season.

While playing "Call of Duty" on stream Tuesday, Davis said he would get a blond stripe in his hair like Dennis Schroder if L.A. repeats as champions.

Davis would be the second player to copy Schroder's signature stripe. Schroder convinced his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate, Justin Patton, to get a blond streak in 2019.

The Lakers are sixth in the Western Conference at 37-28 and could be forced to compete in the play-in tournament if they slip lower in the standings. Overall, it's been a difficult season for the defending champions, which were without Davis and LeBron James for a combined 15 weeks.

While he's out as well due to health and safety protocols, Schroder has been a bright spot, averaging 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game while shooting 43.8% from the field and 33.5% from deep. He'll have to perform at a similar level if the Lakers want another title.
