Anthony Edwards is quickly becoming one of the most prominent players in the NBA, and his standout performances and contributions to the Minnesota Timberwolves have made a significant impact. He believes it won’t take long before he claims the position as the league’s best.

He made this known while making an appearance on NBA Today when his former teammate Austin Rivers asserted he would be the best player in the league in two to three years, to which he agreed.

Yeah, I 100% agree with you, sure. About two or three years, yep. Anthony Edwards said

Furthermore, Anthony Edwards stated that at this point in his career, he is at 40%, and the league is yet to see the best of him. He reminded critics that he is still in his fourth season in the league since being drafted number one by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2020.

Edwards has been phenomenal this season and has earned much praise from his fellow professionals and others. Coupled with the Michael Jordan comparison that has trailed him all season, it’s not surprising to see how confident he is in himself. This season, he averaged 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and a field goal percentage of 46.1%.

Anthony Edwards is excited about being part of Team USA for Paris 2024

Anthony Edwards expressed his excitement for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games as the big names representing the US in the basketball category of the games, which also features LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant.

Complex Sports recently interviewed him and was excited about the idea of playing for his country alongside a couple of his favorite basketball players.

I get to play alongside my favorite player of all time, Kevin Durant… Also, I get to play alongside LeBron (James), Stephen Curry… and all the GOATS… It should be fun. Anthony Edwards said

Anthony Edwards expresses excitement for the Paris Olympics 2024 as the final members of Team USA were announced, featuring NBA big names like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.

Furthermore, his addition to the team has demonstrated how highly rated he is in the league, and if things go according to plan, he can come back as an Olympic champion and one day take the crown as the best player in the league.
