Ben Simmons considered day-to-day for Sixers with knee injury?

The shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers will continue to be shorthanded on Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, point guard Ben Simmons will miss Monday's game and is listed as day-to-day as he continues to receive treatment on his knee.

Simmons has been dealing with knee issues since leaving the Orlando bubble in August to undergo surgery after suffering a partially dislocated knee cap.

In nine games this season, Simmons is averaging 13.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and seven assists per game while shooting 50.5% from the field.

It's unclear if any of the players who missed Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets due to health and safety protocols will miss Monday's game.
