The Trail Blazers are signing rookie center Ibou Badji to a two-way contract and waiving two-way center Olivier Sarr , per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Badji, 20, is 7-foot-1 and has been playing with the Wisconsin Herd of the G League. A native of Senegal, he went undrafted this past summer.

In his first seven games with the Herd, Badji averaged 7.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and a whopping 2.4 blocks.

Meanwhile, the Blazers signed Sarr to a two-way contract back on Oct. 13.

The 7-footer signed two 10-day contracts with the Thunder last season as a rookie, appearing in 22 games and averaging 7.0 points and 4.2 rebounds. So he may find another two-way deal at some point soon.

Sarr has also spent time with the OKC Blue of the G League, playing for the Suns in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in 2021. He also attended a Lakers minicamp for veterans this past offseason.

John Butler Jr. holds down the Blazers’ other two-way spot, making them the only team in the NBA with two 7-footers on two-way contracts.
