After a nine-game absence, Bol Bol is expected to make his return tonight for the Phoenix Suns as they face the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.

While Bol is labeled as questionable with a right foot sprain, he expressed optimism during the Suns’ shootaround, stating, “Hopefully, will return tonight.”

Before being sidelined with the injury, Bol had just started to find his rhythm with the Suns. Prior to New Year’s Day, he had not played more than 5 minutes in any game throughout the season. However, against the Portland Trail Blazers, he erupted for 11 points and 9 rebounds.

In the following two games, Bol averaged 13 minutes and scored 18 points on 8/9 shooting. Known for his ability to quickly energize the home crowd, Bol became a key contributor for the Suns during the initial stretch to start the new year.

Unfortunately, he has only played in one game since, primarily due to injuries.

As Kevin Durant makes his inaugural return to Brooklyn since leaving the Nets around one year ago today, the Suns will aim to halt the Nets’ two-game winning streak. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30.
