On Monday evening, the Boston Celtics are in North Carolina to face off against the Charlotte Hornets.

Before the game, the team made a roster move by recalling Jordan Walsh from the G League (via the G League's official transaction page).

Jay King of The Athletic also confirmed that Walsh is in Charlotte with the team.

Via King: "Jordan Walsh is here with the Celtics in Charlotte."

Walsh was the 38th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Arkansas and has yet to make his debut for the Celtics.

Last season (in college), he averaged 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 43.3% from the field and 27.8% from the three-point range in 36 games.

Walsh has played in four G League games (with the Maine Celtics) and is averaging 17.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.

As for the Celtics, they are off to a fantastic start to the new season and have an 11-2 record in their first 13 games.

They are the first seed in the Eastern Conference and in the middle of a six-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Celtics defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee by a score of 102-100 on Sunday evening.

Following the Hornets, they will return home to host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening.

Last season, the Celtics were the second seed in the east and lost to the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Conference Finals.
