On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 117-99.  

Rookie Jordan Walsh did not appear in the game, and on Wednesday, the team announced that they have assigned him to the Maine Celtics (G League).

Walsh has gone back and forth between Boston and Maine many times this season. 

The former Arkansas star was the 38th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and is averaging 2.8 rebounds per contest in the four games he has played for Boston. 

Walsh is averaging 14.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 43.4% from the field and 36.3% from the three-point range in 18 G League regular season games. 

He also appeared in 16 Showcase Cup games, and averaged 14.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 43.8% from the field and 34.1% from the three-point range.
