Bradley Beal's five-year, $251M Wizards deal has true no-trade clause

Bradley Beal has made his money, and the Washington Wizards would tell you that he's worth every single penny.

His stat sheet would agree with that sentiment as well.

Beal has averaged 22.1 points, 4.2 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game over his 10-season NBA career, all with Washington. His new five-year, $251 million contract is money well deserved, but there's another, almost equally impressive, facet to his contract that's perhaps not getting enough buzz.

ESPN's Bobby Marks is reporting that Beal's contract features a true no-trade clause. Not only is he the only NBA player currently with a true no-trade clause, but he joins a short list of elite names to have had that distinction in their respective contracts.

That's a list that includes LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and David Robinson, among others, per Marks.

That's quite the player-friendly deal for Beal, who now knows that he can control his future hometown if things don't work out with Washington.
