Twitter had a field day with the slender build of Lakers draft pick Brandon Ingram. Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Lakers drafted Brandon Ingram with the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft Thursday night, and one of the first things people noticed was how slender the former Duke star is.

Naturally, the very mean people of the internet hopped on the meme train. Here are some of the funnier ones (sorry, Brandon):

Can you name another super-scrawny dude who was the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft? I can — his name is Kevin Durant.

Of course, Ingram was immediately asked by reporters if he is concerned that he is undersized for the NBA. He had a great response.

“It got me here today,” he said. “I was the No. 2 pick.”

It’s hard to argue with that. Keep your head up, Brandon. We’ve seen much worse memes in recent weeks.
