The Brooklyn Nets have showcased amazing players such as Dr. J and Kyrie Irving. But there are 5 that stand out over the rest and are genuinely special.

Point Guard –  Jason Kidd

Kidd was one of the best point guards in the league at his time and set the bar for future guards of the league. His peak points per game sat at 18.7; however his points weren’t the reason he was so highly praised. It was because of his assists per game; which peaked at an amazing 10.8. Almost every season he averaged a near triple double and also had a peak of 2.4 steals per game. His pass before scoring mindset changed the way future guards go about the game.

Shooting Guard –  Vince Carter

Carter is most known for his crazy air born dunks over defenders. Using his 42-inch vertical, undoubtedly made dunking look like a cake walk for him. His peak came in a Nets jersey, jumping all of his stats up; most notably his points, which jumped 8 points per game just from a season prior. Carter currently holds a 94.5% chance to make it in to the Hall Of Fame; and will forever be recognized as one if not the best dunkers of all time.

Small Forward – Kevin Durant

Durant is a 2x champ, 2x finals and 1x league MVP. He’s one of the most disliked players in the league for his constant team jumping. But one thing no one can debate his raw talent. Standing just under 7 feet and playing like a guard, he is the first to perfect this craft at his height and shows that size doesn’t matter. Everyone knows he will make it to the Hall Of Fame by cemented himself as a top 15 players of all time.

Power Forward – Kevin Garnett

Garnett is a 1x champ, 1x Defensive Player of The Year and 1x MVP. He’s seen as one of the best to do it in his position. Everyone knows him for his very annoying and aggressive trash talk that stumped all of his opponents. It will be near impossible to fully replicate his amazing playing style and image on the court. Players were just scared to get scored on by him but also scared to argue or potentially fight him.

Center – Brook Lopez

Lopez is a 1x champ and still active in the league playing for the Bucks. Known for his amazing shooting for a big man and is called “Splash Mountain,” Lopez is currently the leading scorer for the Brooklyn Nets. Obviously, his peak came with the Nets but hasn’t let up, prior from his trade from to the Bucks. He got voted twice for the All-Defensive team, in recent years.

Honorable Mentions

1- Deron Williams

2 – Julius Erving

3 – James Harden

4 – Kyrie Irving
