Brooklyn Nets looking to make trades already?

With the Brooklyn Nets off to a dismal 0-7 start to the 2015-16 regular season, Nets general manager Billy King apparently has already started exploring trade options.

King, who is in the final year of his own contract as GM of the Nets, has traded away seven first-round draft picks over the past several years in a failed attempt to make the Nets an Eastern Conference contender.

Now without their own first-round draft pick until 2020, if King and the Nets want to make any major changes, their options will be limited due to a severe lack of future assets.

The Nets do however have one major trade chip to bargain with in shooting guard Joe Johnson. Johnson is the final year of this contract, and could be a valuable player for a contending team looking to add a scorer.

Still, the Nets have little flexibility, and long season is likely in store for the King and the Nets.
