Besides being mentioned as a key suitor in two of the most prominent wings in this year's trade season, the Milwaukee Bucks could also have their eyes set on another wingman in Isaac Okoro.

According to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward is another player to watch as Thursday's trade deadline gets nearer, which the Bucks are in the mix with several other teams who may look to acquire his service.

"Okoro is expected to draw interest at the trade deadline. The Knicks, Hawks, Pacers, Suns, and Bucks are all teams to closely monitor as all are known to have interest in acquiring a two-way wing, league sources told HoopsHype."

Okoro's 2023-24 season background

Okoro, 23, has been a standout wingman for the Cavaliers this season.

Mainly assigned to defending the opposing team's top perimeter players, Okoro has developed tremendously and is reliable in Cleveland's impressive season surge thus far. For 38 games (24 starts) this year, he is averaging 8.8 points, 3.2 boards, 1.9 assists, and 37.2 percent three-point shooting — all career-bests.

The former No. 5 overall pick of the 2020 Draft, Okoro, will hit the market as a restricted free agent next summer after he and the Cavs failed to hammer out a rookie scale extension in late October.

Assessing the Bucks' trade case for Ice

The Bucks' probable monitoring of Okoro's availability is intriguing. As it is, it needs to be pointed out that a potential trade for the young forward will occur under the complete willingness of a Cavaliers squad that stands as one of their prime Eastern Conference opponents.

From the competitive standpoint, the idea of a transaction between both sides appears to be blurry just because it would be truly foolish for Cleveland to help Milwaukee address its defensive woes.

As there are still two days left before the trade deadline reaches the season calendar, the Bucks can still consider and pull off many realistic trade scenarios that will boost the remaining portion of their season rally.
