Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo to miss remainder of playoffs with 'serious' foot injury
Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo will miss the remainder of the NBA playoffs with a "serious" tendon injury in his left foot, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
DiVincenzo suffered the injury during the second quarter of Thursday's 113-84 Game 3 win over the Miami Heat. He drove past Goran Dragic, who fouled him, but stopped in pain before going up for a shot.
He then limped off the floor and did not return to the game.
DiVincenzo, a starter, has been vital to Milwaukee's success this season. The 24-year-old averaged a career-high 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 42% from the field and 37.9% from deep.
With DiVincenzo sidelined, the Bucks will likely turn to a mixture of PJ Tucker, Pat Connaughton and Bryn Forbes to fill his spot.
Milwaukee is up 3-0 on Miami, with Game 4 set for Saturday afternoon. The Bucks are looking at a second-round matchup against the mighty Brooklyn Nets, and DiVincenzo's absence will undoubtedly be felt.
