It has been no secret that Suns’ PG Cam Payne has been involved in recent trade speculation; however, more fuel has been added to the fire with a string of tweets.

After conducting a workout with the Brooklyn Nets, or more specifically, with his former teammate, Mikal Bridges, Cam Payne tweeted out a few cryptic messages. Almost as if the move has already been made.

Cam Payne played with Mikal for three seasons in Phoenix. During those seasons, the two experienced two playoff runs and grew extremely close.

Mikal even responded to the tweet.

While Payne still has one year left on his $19 million contract, the Suns do have the option to trade away the eight-year veteran. And, per recent reports, Phoenix has shown plenty of interest in the Pacers’ T.J. McConnell.

This only leaves further speculation that Mat Ishbia and the Suns are planning to shake things up at least one more time before they are done completing their roster.

Stay tuned for further updates.
