The Cleveland Cavaliers sealed a 2-1 record on their three-game road trip with a 108-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.

With the win, the Wine and Gold are now 43-25 on the season.

Swingman Caris LeVert led the way for the Cavaliers with a strong performance in his fourth start of the season.

He nearly recorded a triple-double, tallying a game-high 23 points (tied), eight rebounds, a team-high 11 assists, one steal, and one block. The 29-year-old shot 7-for-15 (46.7%) from the field, 1-for-5 (20.0%) from three-point range, and 8-for-11 (72.7%) from the free-throw line.

According to Stathead, this was LeVert’s second game of his career (regular-season or postseason) with at least 23 points, eight rebounds, and 11 assists. His only other such performance came on December 23, 2021, when he had 24 points, eight rebounds, and 11 assists in a victory over the Houston Rockets as a member of the Pacers.

On Monday night, LeVert had an impressive end of the first half offensively. After Cleveland trailed 47-39 with 6:10 remaining in the first half, he scored the team’s next 13 points over the next 5:35 to eventually tie the game at 52-52. LeVert had a game-high 17 points and six assists (tied) in the game’s first 24 minutes, as the two teams went into halftime tied at 54-54.

Although he had just six points in the second half, he totaled four rebounds, five assists, and a block. LeVert’s +7 plus/minus in the game’s final 24 minutes was the second-highest among all players.

Up next, the Wine and Gold will host the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
