Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell is listed as “questionable” for Tuesday’s critical Game 4 vs. the Indiana Pacers, but he said he’s going to be a go.

After Tuesday morning, it’s easy to believe him.

That’s because Mitchell took part in the Cavs’ morning shootaround, warming up and testing his left ankle injury.

The Cavs trail the series, 3-1, and now have to win three straight to keep their season alive. Mitchell exited Game 4 at halftime with the injury and was considered “doubtful” to return at the time. Given that the Cavs were down by 41 points, he never did.

He told Cleveland.com and The Athletic after the game he intended to play in Game 5.

“I’ll see you Tuesday,” he said.

The following day, ESPN reported that Mitchell would be a game-time decision. He is indeed listed as questionable. Mitchell is the only player listed on either team's injury report.

Game 5 tips off at 7 p.m. on TNT.
