Celtics star guard/forward Jayson Tatum is ready to roll for the playoffs and he’ll be sporting a new pair of sneakers when they get here.

For the first time, he will be wearing his own signature shoe — the Jordan Tatum 1, due for release Friday. This follows Tatum starring in his first Jordan Brand commercial earlier in the week.

“It’s something I’ve always dreamed about, less than a couple days away. Thankful, grateful, excited, and just enjoying the moment and looking forward to seeing them on kids’ and grownups’ feet across the country and around the world,” Tatum told reporters, via Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald. “So, I’m happy and looking forward to it.”

The Jordan Tatum 1 promises to be the lightest shoe in Nikes lineup and will first come out in a black and red “zoo” color scheme. Cost is $120 for adult sizes, $90 for big kids, and $75 for little kids. There is also a toddler size for $55.

“I am very excited about the overall aesthetic and how lightweight it is, but I love the colorways,” Tatum said last month, via Callahan. “We were able to stay consistent in terms of bringing some of my previous Air Jordan PEs to the first colorways of my signature shoe, giving fans the opportunity to wear what they already like. It’s a direct reflection of me, and that’s what I hope people see and feel.”

A move about the creation of the Air Jordan brand, Air , starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, is in theaters now.
