Boston Celtics power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the visiting Golden State Warriors due to a left quad contusion.

Porzingis, 28, is averaging 20.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 blocks in 44 games (all starts) this season. He is in his first campaign with Boston after being acquired from the Washington Wizards via trade in June.

Porzingis has averages of 19.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 blocks in 446 career games (445 starts) with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Wizards and Celtics. He was selected by New York with the fourth overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft.
