Chandler Parsons rules out Warriors resurgence, with or without a trade

The Golden State Warriors have lost six of their last eight games. They're three games outside the Western Conference's play-in spots, trailing the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers. The front office is reportedly open to trade discussions involving anyone other than Steph Curry

Former Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons isn't sold on the idea that the Warriors can fix their season in the trade market.

"I think this team unless they make a move, which I still don't think there's a move out there to put in the level to compete with these other teams," Parsons said. "...I've never seen this version of Steph Curry. You're seeing him rip his jersey and roll his eyes. He's over it. They're the 12th seed. They're not even in the play-in. It's a tough situation because do they actually move Klay Thompson or Draymond Green with all that they've done for the organization. How would the fan base react? They don't have that many assets. No one really wants Andrew Wiggins."

Despite losing their last two games, we're starting to see the Warriors raise their game. They're fighting on both sides of the floor. Their defense looks to be slowly improving. Part of those improvements is due to the new-look frontcourt of Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, and Andrew Wiggins.

However, if the Warriors are going to turn their season around, they need their veteran trio to roll back the years. It's going to take vintage performances from Curry, Thompson and Green for the remainder of the season. Otherwise, a team that won a championship in 2022 could be watching the playoffs from home.

Should that happen, it's fair to assume the Warriors' roster would look rather different to begin next season.
