Patrick Williams has no shortage of confidence. The third-year forward out of Florida State believes he can become a superstar in the NBA. It's great to see this confidence out of Williams, especially with so many fans on the fence about him. Hell, even the coaching staff has been on record desiring more from Williams.

When interviewed by NBC Sports Chicago Bulls insider KC Johnson, Williams had no problem sharing his confidence. Williams struggled at the beginning of the 2022-23 campaign but has been starting to put it all together on the court.

“I told you I was going to figure it out. I think I’m still figuring it out. But I’m 100 percent locked in on being the player that I want to be,” Williams said following Sunday’s practice at the Advocate Center. “I always felt I had what it took to be a really good player in this league. But now I’m starting to feel like I have what it takes to be a star and a superstar in this league. I’m kind of trying to take that role on and build on it day by day.

Over the last 10 games, Williams is averaging 10.8 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 1.4 BPG. He is shooting 48% from the field and 52% from downtown on 3.4 attempts per game. It seems like he's found a rhythm and is finally becoming more comfortable within the Bulls offense.

One thing is for sure, if Williams can continue to believe in himself, he could become a superstar. He has all the tools to become that in today's NBA. For his sake and the sake of Bulls fans, hopefully, this trend continues.
