On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Mavericks in Dallas, Texas.

The Warriors were playing without Steph Curry and Draymond Green and lost by a score of 109-99.

Chris Paul finished with nine points, four rebounds and four assists while shooting 4/12 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

The future Hall of Famer also made NBA history by becoming the 32nd player to make 1,700 career three-pointers

In addition, Paul moved up on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list

Via The Golden State Warriors: "By playing tonight, Chris Paul passes Tony Parker and Paul Silas for 34th most regular-season games played in NBA history."

Paul is averaging 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 37.2% from the three-point range in 41 games.

With the loss, the Warriors dropped to 34-31 in 65 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 17-14 in the 31 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Following the Mavs, the Warriors will now travel to Los Angeles for a showdown with LeBron James and the Lakers on Saturday evening.
