Chris Paul once again addresses fit with Warriors

Following the Golden State Warriors' trade to acquire Chris Paul, much of the conversation has focused on his potential fit with the team. Specifically, how he'll fit into an offense where, if playing with the starting five, he may not be the primary ballhandler as much as he's used to. While Paul has spent months explaining why he's not concerned about that, he may have given one of his best and most detailed answers on the topic in a recent interview.

When speaking to SiriusXM NBA Radio, Paul detailed the fact that while much of his career has involved him as the primary ballhandler and needing to be in that role, it's not as though he forgot how to play basketball. He even cited back to his collegiate days when the focus was on numerous other areas of the offense aside from playing on the ball.

It's an interesting bit of insight from Paul, who certainly hasn't seemed the slightest bit worried about adapting to life with the Warriors. For good measure, he's gotten off to a strong start through just the team's four preseason games. He played extended minutes in only one game, against the Sacramento Kings, when he logged 30 minutes of court time. But in that game, he scored 13 points with nine assists and six rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent from the field.
