The Bearcats sent out an offer to arguably the best high school basketball player in the country regardless of class on Wednesday.

Five-star 2025 Prolific Prep (California) forward AJ Dybantsa is a Cincinnati target, as he just reclassified into 2025 from 2026.

According to 247Sports, Dybantsa holds an astounding 1.000 rating as the top player in the country as a small forward. He holds 18 offers from schools like Baylor, Auburn, and USC.

It's amazing what kind of skill level Dybantsa shows in just his second year at the high school level. The 6-foot-9, 200-pound forward has amazing handles at that size and is a punishing force around the rim with premier athleticism.

His dribble hesitation moves and shot package off the bounce sparks double takes when watching. Dybantsa has a fluid jump shot that can launch from just about anywhere on the floor at his size. Oh, and that size translates to great rim protection on the other end as a timely shot blocker.

Dybantsa isn't as tall as him yet, but his play style reminds me a lot of Chet Holmgren. He would easily be the best recruit this century to play for Cincinnati.
