CJ McCollum wasn't happy with Giannis Antetokounmpo's defensive performance on Tuesday night. The Greek Freak saw Kevin Durant overshadow him in Game 5 of the Brooklyn Nets-Milwaukee Bucks series while he didn't show any intention of checking on the 2x NBA champion.

At the start of the game, Giannis didn't worry about KD since the Bucks had a comfortable lead. Durant and Jeff Green were the only players who scored for the Nets while the Bucks took off.

However, as the home team got closer to the Bucks and KD started making shot after shot, fans wanted to see Giannis helping PJ Tucker and taking on the Slim Reaper. However, that never happened, and the 2x NBA MVP earned a lot of criticism after the game.

CJ McCollum seemingly threw shade at the Bucks superstar for not checking on KD, although he's an All-Defensive First Team.

"Bruh first team all defense and ain’t go check easy$ "

Former NBA player Kenny Smith also chimed in on this situation, wondering why Giannis decided to 'ignore' Durant while the player was on fire, torching Khris Middleton and PJ Tucker.

Draymond Green, a DPOY candidate, also seemed to take a shot at Antetokounmpo. When somebody pointed out that he wouldn't hesitate to go against the best player on the other team, the Warriors star couldn't agree more.

After the game, Giannis admitted that he loved to guard KD in Game 6 of the series, but those words came a little too late.

The Nets are one game away from beating the Bucks, and the Greek player needs to step up if his team wants to force Game 7.
