Training camp around the NBA will begin in less than one month, so there will continue to be many transactions made.

On Wednesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced three new signings, including former Atlanta Hawks  player Sharife Cooper.

Via The Cavs : "CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed guard Sharife Cooper, forward Pete Nance and guard Justin Powell, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman announced today."

Cooper played one season of college basketball for the Auburn Tigers and averaged 20.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.0 steals per contest in 12 games.

Following his strong season, the talented point guard was selected with the 48th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Hawks.

Cooper has only appeared in 13 NBA games, but he has played well in the G League.

This past year, the 22-year-old averaged 21.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.1% from the field in 25 regular season games for the Cleveland Charge (G League affiliate of the Cavs).

He also played in 18 Showcase Cup games and two G League playoff games.

Meanwhile, Powell went undrafted this past summer and is coming off a year where he averaged 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest while shooting 40.8% from the field and 42.6% from the three-point range in 34 games for Washington State.

As for Nance, he also went undrafted in June and is coming off a season where he averaged 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 42.2% from the field in 30 games for UNC.
