Cole Anthony pays homage to his dad with first Dunk Contest slam

Cole Anthony had to show love to his father at All-Star Weekend.

Anthony -- the son of former NBA guard and current basketball analyst Greg Anthony -- summoned his dad onto the court and dressed for the occasion as part of his first attempt Saturday night in the Dunk Contest.

Going first among the field of four competitors, Anthony called for his dad to hold the ball under the hoop and prepared the rest of his theatrics. He threw on Greg's old Knicks jersey -- he spent the first five years of his career in New York -- and laced up traditional NYC Timberland boots to make it harder on himself.

Anthony missed the mark on his first two attempts, but the third time was the charm as he took the ball from his dad on the way up and slammed it through before landing in his Timbs.

Anthony was awarded a 40 for the dunk, his first of the night.
